CDM project management

CO2focus has built up a strong commercial and technical team (partner network) with the know-how needed to carry out projects from the conceptual stage to the sale of carbon credits (Certified Emission Reductions). This includes the early phase of feasibility studies as well as the Project Design Document (PDD), validation and registration of the project, and acting as the focal point towards the CDM Executive Board (CDM EB). If necessary we also manage the sales process of CERs on behalf of the project participants. CO2focus therefore offers the project owner an opportunity to make use of the flexible mechanisms with a minimum of risk. /p>

In order for a project to be approved by the UN (CDM EB) and generate CERs, certain predetermined criteria must be fulfilled, such as:
- The host and investor country's participation in the project is voluntary
- The emissions reductions are real and measurable and the project contribute to sustainable development
- The project would not have been carried out without the financial support from selling emission credits.
